This video demonstrates how music sounds better on Xperia, by highlighting a number of exclusive Xperia and Sony audio features.

The video opens with an Xperia animated logo, followed by a montage of a person opening the charging case of a pair of black WF-1000XM5 truly wireless earbuds, putting them in her ears and pressing play on an Xperia 1 V media playback app. “Predictable Life” by Abby Holiday plays and is the background music for the entire video. We briefly follow her as she walks, smiling, through a large public space wearing the earbuds. Titles read “Superior sound / Wireless freedom / Xperia 1 V + WF-1000XM5” along with logos for Xperia technologies: LDAC™, DSEE Ultimate™, and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.

An animated sequence of Xperia 1 V smartphones rotates into a circular kaleidoscope pattern, and the camera zooms into the 3.5mm audio jack being connected, for pure wired music listening. The title reads “Pure Music” with a 3.5mm audio jack logo. Another woman is seated comfortably, inside, surrounded by soft furniture and plants, and nodding along to music coming from stereo speakers on an Xperia 1 V smartphone. The camera shifts focus to the smartphone's upright display, with an animated band performing on top of the smartphone, expressing the powerful sound of the Full-stage stereo speakers. Titles read “Powerful sound / full-stage stereo speakers”

We then cut to a person walking through a busy public plaza wearing WF-1000XM5 wireless earbuds and holding the Xperia 1 V in front of their chest. Animated lines appear to connect the Xperia to the earbuds, simulating a stable wireless connection even in the crowded place. Titles read “Stable connection / for Sony Xperia and Sony headphones”

We return to the first woman, now seated in a reception area surrounded by art, and working on a bench with a notebook computer on her lap, while wearing WF-1000XM5 earbuds. She notices an incoming video call on her Xperia 1 V and picks up the device from the bench beside her to hold it up to her face. The audio connection automatically switches from her computer to the smartphone, so she can seamlessly receive the call. A title reads “Easily switch devices / multi point connection”

We then follow a woman listening to music via her WF-1000XM5 noise cancelling headphones. Initially she is standing on a noisy train, with a smaller video window overlaid, showing an Xperia 1 V surrounded by ambient sound waves, and the title “Noise-cancelling adjusts / for travelling”. As she exits the train the animated sound waves change shape, and she walks across the train station platform and into a noisy street, with the title “Noise-cancelling adjusts / for walking”. In the street, some ambient sound is automatically made audible, giving her a safe awareness of the traffic around her. The video then cuts to a pan across a café table to where she is waiting and still listening to music. Again the animated noise cancelling sound wave around the Xperia adjusts slightly, and a title reads “Noise-cancelling adjusts / for waiting”

A wider shot of the café shows her holding the Xperia 1 V and listening to 360 Reality Audio using the WF-1000XM5 headphones. A sphere of animated sound waves encompass her head, and a title reads "Surround yourself in music" along with a 360 REALITY AUDIO logo.

We cut to her in a comfortable living space, holding an Xperia 1 V in landscape orientation as she watches a video. A focus-zoom effect draws the viewer towards her while her eyes widen into an amazed look, then smiles, as she admires the stunning display and sound quality. Titles read “Cinematic audio & visuals” along with logos for 4K HDR, OLED, and the X1 for mobile video processor.

The woman is then shown enjoying a game on her Xperia 5 IV, while listening to the audio via wired INZONE overhead headphones. A headset microphone in visible to allow her to speak to teammates, and a picture insert shows a few seconds of gameplay and a ‘Victory’ screen. She reacts with a broad smile, and titles read “Explosive gaming / Xperia 5 IV + INZONE”

We cut to an over-shoulder shot, of a woman holding an Xperia 10 V in portrait orientation and wearing WF-C700N true wireless earbuds. She is smoothly scrolling through social media video posts adding likes and other reactions, with the titles “Immersive social media / Xperia 10 V + WF-C700N”.

A close-up shot then shows her singing into the microphone at the bottom of an Xperia 1 V, while wearing WH-1000XM5 overhead headphones, connected via the 3.5mm headphone jack. The exclusive Music Pro app is on the Xperia screen, and capturing her voice, with the title “When inspiration strikes / record with Music Pro”. The shot of her shrinks to a smaller window to reveal a larger view of the Music Pro app’s recording interface.

A final montage of the characters from the video begins with a person running on a track while wearing WF-1000XM5 earbuds, then a series of tiles show the woman at the café, and walking through the public space. Animated tiles show close-up shots of the Xperia smartphones, then converge to a final shot of all the featured headphone models, beside an animation of the three Xperia phones turning towards the camera.

The video ends with the Sony animated logo.
