Announcement Regarding NDI® License in Remote Camera Systems
Providing NDI as a Standard Feature Free of Charge
(MALAYSIA, 18 NOVEMBER 2024) – Sony offers NDI®-compatible remote camera systems with NDI video equipment connectivity as a standard feature at no additional cost. Going forward, NDI will be available for both newly sold and existing products through a firmware upgrade or complimentary NDI license provision. The eligible models are as follows.
Eligible Models
- Cinema Line Camera “ILME-FR7”
Firmware Upgrade and Other Support for Each Model
- Cinema Line Camera “ILME-FR7”
By upgrading to Ver. 3.0, which is scheduled to be available from June 2025, NDI can be used free of charge.
Complimentary Provision of NDI Licenses for “ILME-FR7”
Should an NDI license be required prior to the release of the new versions of the “ILME-FR7”, *a complimentary NDI license will be available from 18 November 2024.
