Sony's Xperia technology helps filmmakers achieve their vision

Xperia 1 III and Xperia Pro allowed film teams in separate locations to collaborate seamlessly. The devices were connected to the primary shooting camera, which let the main camera and multiple field cameras share images instantly between Los Angeles and Tokyo.

Xperia device used as a monitor on new premium drama shoot

Xperia attached to Sony FX3 can provide a clearer outcome for production crew.

In order to help filmmakers review footage live, the Xperia can be connected to Sony Cinema Line Full-frame camera FX3 and used as an external monitor.

Compared with a standard compact monitor, Xperia is light, especially when placed on a gimbal. The Xperia displays FX3 camera images and allows the camera to be fully remote-controlled.
