The screen seems darker when switched to external input.
If your screen seems darker when you switch to HDMI IN 1 / 2 input that's connected to devices such as a Blu-ray disc player, PS4 or other game consoles, you will probably need to adjust your picture settings.
Picture settings and adjusting brightness
You can separately set the picture settings of the TV. This includes the brightness level by broadcast (DIGITAL/ANALOG) and external inputs (HDMI, Video components and other Inputs). When the picture settings of external inputs is darker than the default setting, the screen will appear dark.
