(Wireless) Connection diagnosis results are displayed as Not accessible (or Failed), Failed, Failed.
The connection diagnosis test from the TV menu displays not accessible or Failed and the built-in wireless LAN of the TV (or USB wireless LAN adapter UWA-BR100) does not operate.
Please try the following steps.
When you are using built-in wireless LAN:
- Check the built-in wireless function is activated.
- For Android TV™/Google TV™ models
- Open the Settings screen. How to access the Settings
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Network & Internet — Wi-Fi and set to On.
- Select Network — Advanced Settings — Built-in Wi-Fi and set to On.
- For other TV models released in and after 2015
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Set-up.
- Select Network.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Select On.
- For models released in and before 2014
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi or Built-in Wireless LAN.
- Select On.
- For Android TV™/Google TV™ models
- Perform a power reset on the TV.

- For other TV models: How to perform a power reset on a Sony television.
- Carry out the connection diagnosis anew.
If other diagnosis results are displayed, please try an individual solution.
When you are using USB wireless LAN adapter UWA-BR100:
- Disconnect UWA-BR100 from the TV.
- Turn off the power supply of the TV by remote controller and disconnect the power cord (mains lead).
- Connect the power cord (mains lead) again and turn on the power supply.
- Connect UWA-BR100 again.
- Carry out the connection diagnosis anew.
- If the issue is still unresolved, your TV or UWA-BR100 may need to be repaired.
- If other diagnosis results are displayed, please try an individual solution.
