Subtitles stored on a USB device are not displayed in the Media Player subtitle list.
IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.
If some subtitles on a USB device connected to the TV are not showing in Media Player, check the following:
- Make sure subtitle files are located in the same folder as the content.
- If the subtitle file suffix (*.ssa/ *.ass/ *.srt) has uppercase characters, change them to lowercase.
- For BRAVIA 3 (S30): Make sure that the subtitle file name is the same as the video file name.
Example:- Video file name: XXXXX_YYYYY.mp4
- Subtitle file name: XXXXX_YYYYY.srt
