Streaming Devices

    • The connection examples below are illustrated using the Chromecast 3rd Generation.
    • Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra require a TV with an HDMI port, a Wi-Fi network and a compatible (Android, iOS, Windows or Mac OS) computer or mobile device

    Step 1: Making a Connection

    1. Connect your casting device into your TV, then connect the USB power cable to your Chromecast. Then either plug the other end of the USB power cable into an open USB port on your TV OR into the included power adapter which you will then plug into a power outlet.
      Note: Only use the provided AC adapter.
    2. To connect to your Chromecast device, ensure that the Chromecast and the mobile device or tablet you are using to set up Chromecast with are both on the same Wi-Fi network.
    3. On your mobile device or tablet, download the Google Home app.
    4. Setup Chromecast by following these steps.
    5. Cast content. Learn how to cast from Chrome to your TV or cast from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV.
    Please use an authorised HDMI cable bearing the HDMI logo.

    Step 2: TV Set-up

    1. After making a connection, turn on the TV.
    2. Press the (Input) button repeatedly to select the input to the connected streaming device.
