DTS is not output from DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) or HDMI (ARC).

For Android™ 9 or later

To output DTS, follow these steps to set the Pass through mode to Auto.

1. Open the  Settings screen. How to access Settings
   • Using the  Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later)
     1. Press the  (Quick Settings) button on the remote control.
     2. Select  Settings.
   • Using the HOME button
     1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
     2. Select  Settings.
2. Select Display & Sound.
3. Select Audio output.
4. Select Pass through mode, then select Auto.

NOTE: In this settings the system sound, Google Assistant talk back, and Screen reader are not output with DTS content sound simultaneously.

For X74H / X75H Series:
DTS is output only when Digital audio out is set to Auto. PCM is output in all other cases.

For Android 8.0

DTS is output only in the settings below. PCM is output in all other cases.

• Speakers: Audio system
• Digital audio out: Auto1 or Auto2
• TalkBack and Screen reader: Off
• System sounds: Off
