YouTube App doesn't launch, freezes, or Error message appears

If the issue persists, it may be resolved by initializing the YouTube app using the following procedure.
NOTE: The display screen may differ depending on your TV model or OS version.

1. Open the  Settings screen.   How to access Settings 
   • Using the  Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later)
     1. Press the  (Quick Settings) button on the remote control.
     2. Select  Settings.
   • Using the HOME button
     1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
     2. Select  Settings.
2. Select Apps.
   
3. Select YouTube.
   
4. Select Clear data.
   
5. Choose OK.
6. Select Clear cache.
   
7. Choose OK.
8. Select Force stop.
   
9. Launch YouTube app from Home screen.
10. If the above steps do not help to resolve the issue, perform the following steps:

• How to restart (reset) an Android TV?
• Adjust date and time settings on Android TV
• How to perform a software update

NOTE:

• Once this issue occurs, it may continue to occur even after the temporary connection failure is resolved. The procedure above is the solution for such cases.

For other YouTube app issues, it may be resolved by initializing the Internet Browser app using the following procedure.

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Select Application.
3. Select Internet Browser.
   
    
4. Press OPTIONS on the remote control.
   
    
5. Select Browser Settings.
   
    
6. Select Delete all Cookies.
   
    
7. Choose Yes.

• Initialise the TV personal information:

1. Select [HOME] > [Settings] > [Customer Support]

2. Select [Initialize Personal Information]

3. Select [OK]
