If the issues below occur after a software update, try the applicable solution procedures.
NOTE: If the issues are not resolved even after trying the solution procedures below, return to the page that linked you here and check the other items.

The HOME button on the remote control does not work or the Home screen does not display (Except for 2020 or later models)
Note: Some models do not have a Configuring the TV menu in Settings, so this step may not be performed.
Perform Clear cache in System software update.

- Press the HELP button on the remote control.
- Select Help Guide in How to use your TV.
- Select Settings.
- Select Configuring the TV.
- Select TV.
- Select Settings.
- Select Apps.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select See all apps — Show system apps — System software update. (Android™ 9)
- Select System software update in the System app category. (Android 8.0 or earlier)
- Select Clear cache.
- Select OK.

Sound cuts out regularly
Check the picture reset mode setting and change it to Off if it is On.
- Open the Settings screen.
How to access Settings
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings button:
- On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
- Select Settings.
- If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button:
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select System or Device Preferences — Retail mode settings — Picture reset mode — Off. (Android 9 or later)
- Select Retail mode settings — Picture reset mode— Off. (Android 8.0 or earlier)
- TV enters demo mode
Check the demo mode setting and change it to Off if it is On. To check and configure the setting, refer to How to turn off or exit the DEMO mode on the TV. - Program guide does not display or is outdated / Recording cannot be performed
Check the time acquisition setting and change it to On or Use network time if it is Off. -
- Open the Settings screen.
How to access Settings
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings button:
- On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
- Select Settings.
- If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button:
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select System or Device Preferences — Date & Time — Automatic date & time. (Android 9 or later)
- Select Date & Time — Automatic date & time. (Android 8.0 or earlier)
- Set to On, or set to Use network time.
NOTE: If you select to set to On, set Time synchronization to Use network-provided time.
- Recorded titles disappeared from the title list
Check the display setting of the title list. -
- Press the TITLE LIST or REC LIST button on the remote control.
If the remote control does not have a TITLE LIST/REC LIST button, press the HOME button and select Title list. - Select Filter.
If Filter is not shown, Press the ACTION MENU button on the remote control and select Filter.
- If Non-playback or Played is off (no checkmark), press the Enter button to turn it on (checkmark is displayed).
- Check that the titles are displayed in the Title List.
NOTE: Make sure that ALL is selected as the genre from the menu on the left side of the screen when checking.
