Voice search (Google Assistant)

    Voice search

    The voice search function can help you find content you are looking for by listening to your spoken search words. In order to use the voice search function, an Internet connection and to sign-in to a Google account are necessary.

    When you are using an app, search results in the app will be displayed on your TV screen. Below are examples of apps where the voice search function can be used:

    • YouTube™: You can search contents available in YouTube.
    • TV broadcast: TV programs related to your search word appear on your TV screen.

    Note: The search results are from YouTube content when the app you use has not been supported by voice search function.

    How to use the voice search function

    1. On your remote control, press the MIC or Google Assistant button.
    2. At the top of your TV remote control, speak into the microphone (such as a movie title) while holding the MIC or Google Assistant button.

    If your TV has Google Assistant, You can also ask Google Assistant to play your favorite movie or TV show, check the score of your favorite team, control your TV, dim the lights and more, all using just your voice.
