How to use Google Cast (Chromecast built-in) on Sony's Google TV™ or Android TV™

    Google Cast (Chromecast built-in) makes it easy to watch your favorite content from your mobile device or computer on your TV. You can also use your device and cast content to the TV at the same time.

    Check if your TV and device support Google Cast

    Google Cast is available for the following TVs and devices:

    Before you start

    • Make sure your TV and mobile device or computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If a home network environment is not available, check for an alternative casting method:
    • Your TV, mobile device, computer, and Chromecast-enabled app must be updated to the latest software versions.
      (For mobile devices, an Android device with Android 2.3 or later, or an iPhone / iPad with iOS 7.0 or later is required.)
    • For computers: The computer must meet the minimum system requirements.
