The screen display and home screen are sometimes dark while watching the HDR video content.

    Check the following.

    For X75xxD Series, X70xxD Series, S80xxD Series (Non-Triluminos):

    While watching the HDR video content (including the internet videos):
    The screen display and home screen may sometimes darken, but this is not a malfunction.
    Since the graphics such as the screen display or home screen is made in a conventional manner, it is displayed somewhat darkly due to a difference in the standard of the image quality mode for HDR.

    For TV models other than the above (Triluminos):

    • While watching the HDR video content (including the internet videos):
      The screen display and home screen may sometimes darken, but this is not a malfunction.
      Since the graphics such as the screen display or home screen is made in a conventional manner, it is displayed somewhat darkly due to a difference in the standard of the image quality mode for HDR.

    • If HDR mode is set to On, set HDR mode to AUTO with the following methods.
      • While using the video App such as Youtube:
        1. Press the Action Menu button on the remote.
        2. Select Picture.
        3. Select Advanced settings in the Picture Apps (Video) category.
        4. Select Video options.
        5. Select HDR mode.
        6. Select Auto.
      • While using App such as Google Play Store:
        1. Press the Home button on the remote.
        2. Display the Settings screen.
        3. Press the Action Menu button on the remote.
        4. Select Picture.
        5. Select Advanced settings in the Picture Apps (Video) category.
        6. Select Video options.
        7. Select HDR mode.
        8. Select Auto.
      • While watching the HDR content of the external device via HDMI:
        1. Select the input mode (HDMI).
        2. Press the Action Menu button on the remote.
        3. Select the Picture.
        4. Select the Advanced settings in the Picture HDMI.
        5. Select the Video options.
        6. Select the HDR mode.
        7. Select the Auto.
