How is Location information used?

    Location information is used purposes that include optimizing the services provided by Google service and other applications according to country. Depending on the application, if you do not enable Location, the app may not work properly.

    If disabling the Location setting causes issues, follow the steps below to turn on Location.

    1. Set the Location status to On or Use Wi-Fi to estimate location.
      1. Open the Settings screen.
      2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • PrivacyLocationLocation statusUse Wi-Fi to estimate location.

        • LocationLocation statusOn or Use Wi-Fi to estimate location.
    2. Set Location in Restricted Profile to True.
      NOTE: This step is only necessary if you are using a Restricted Profile.
      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select  Settings.
      3. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:

    NOTE: The TV does not have a GPS module, but location information can be estimated from Wi-Fi or network information.
