What is Netflix calibrated mode?

Note: If your TV model is not stated below, it would mean this feature is not supported for your model.

The Netflix calibrated mode on your Google TV™ or Android TV™ allows you to experience picture quality close to a filmmaker's vision and intent. Follow the instructions below to turn it on or off:

For Google TVs and Android TVs released after 2019 listed below:

• 2024 models: BRAVIA 7 (XR70), BRAVIA 8 (XR80), BRAVIA 9 (XR90)
  (For Taiwan only): BRAVIA 7 (XR70) series, BRAVIA 8 (XR80) series, BRAVIA 9 (XR90) series
• 2023 models: A95L, A80L, A75L, X95L, X93L, X90L series
  (For Taiwan only): XRM-A95L, XRM-A80L XRM-X95L, XRM-X90L series
• 2022 models: A95K, A90K, A80K, A75K, X95K, X90K, X91K, X92K (55-85), X90K, X92K (50), Z9K series
  (For Taiwan only): XRM-A95K, XRM-A90K, XRM-A80K, XRM-X95K, XRM-X90K, XRM-Z9K series
• 2021 models: X95J, Z9J,  X90J (50-75, 100), A90J, A80J series
  (For Taiwan only): XRM-X95J, XRM-Z9J, XRM-X90J, XRM-A90J, XRM-A80J series
• 2020 models: A9S, A8H, Z8H, X95H (55, 65, 75), X95H (49, 85), X90H, X91H series
  (For Taiwan only): KM-X9000H series
• 2019 models: Z9G, A9G, X95G series

1. Launch Netflix.
2. On the supplied remote control, press the Quick Settings ( or ) button.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Display & Sound.
5. Select Picture.
6. Set Netflix calibrated mode to ON or OFF.

• If the Netflix calibrated mode is set to ON, the Picture mode settings become grayed out.
• If you want to select other Picture mode settings, follow steps 1 to 6 above to turn off the Netflix calibrated mode.

For A9F and Z9F series (2018 models):

1. Launch Netflix.
2. Press the ACTION MENU button on the supplied remote control.
3. The next step is depending on which way the menu is displayed on the screen.

   1. When the menu is displayed on the bottom of the screen (Quick Settings):
      1. Select Settings.
      2. Select Display & Sound.
      3. Select Picture.
      4. Set Netflix calibrated mode to ON or OFF.
   2. When the menu is displayed on the top of the screen (Action Menu)
      1. Select Picture adjustments.
      2. Set Netflix calibrated mode to ON or OFF.

• If the Netflix calibrated mode is set to ON, the Picture mode settings become grayed out.
• If you want to select other Picture mode settings, follow steps above to turn off the Netflix calibrated mode.
