I'm unable to set up my home theatre system or soundbar using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app
If your home theatre system or soundbar appears in the Applicable Products and Categories of This Article section, you need to complete the initial setup using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect mobile app. If you connect an optional subwoofer or surround sound speakers, you will also need to complete the setup using the app. See the product Help Guide for more details.

If you experience any connection or settings issues with the app, refer to the following:
- Be sure to enter the correct information when you add a Sony account in the app settings. If you fail to sign in to the app when you need to redo the registration, you can try fixing the issue by clearing the cookies and cache in the main browser of your smartphone where you have the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app installed. - If the Bluetooth pairing has already finished when the device registration in the app fails, delete the Bluetooth pairing information displayed as LE_xxxxx (the model name) in your smartphone's Bluetooth settings and perform the pairing again. - If you use any characters other than alphabetical characters, spaces, or specific symbols, the wireless LAN connection may fail. For details on available network name (SSID) characters, refer to this article: The device cannot connect to the wireless LAN network.
