What are the type of music files which SonicStage Ver.2.0 support?

    Type of music files which SonicStage Ver.2.0 support.

    The type of music files are OpenMG, WAV, MP3 and WMT (Windows Media Technologies).

    (To play back these music files, import them into My Library.)

    * When transferring WAV, MP3, and WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files to a device/media, conversion of these files to OpenMG format might be needed, depending on the device.

    1. Import OpenMG format music files by:
    - Recording tracks from an audio CD in OpenMG (ATRAC3) or OpenMG (ATRAC3plus) format and importing them into My Library.
    - Downloading music files in OpenMG format from a music service site through Internet and importing them into My Library.
    - Converting music files stored on the hard disk to OpenMG (ATRAC3) or OpenMG (ATRAC3plus) format and importing them into My Library.
    - Importing tracks recorded on a Hi-MD device or a MagicGate Memory Stick compatible device into My Library.

    2. Import WAV format music files by:
    - Recording tracks from an audio CD in WAV format and importing them into My Library.
    - Importing WAV music files stored on the hard disk into My Library.

    Note:
    - When importing music files into My Library, only WAV format music files with the following characteristics can be converted to OpenMG format:
    A. Linear PCM.
    B. 16-bit or 24-bit sampling width.
    C. 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, or 96 kHz sampling frequency.
    D. Monaural or stereo format.

    3. Import MP3 format music files by:
    - Recording tracks from an audio CD in MP3 format and importing them into My Library.
    - Importing MP3 format music files stored on the hard disk into My Library.

    Note:
    - To record MP3 format, SonicStage MP3 Add-on Program and Windows Media Player Version 6.4 or higher must be installed on the computer.
    - When importing M3U Playlist format files from the hard disk into My Library, all the music files in the M3U PLaylist format files are imported together.
    - Only MP3 format music files with 32kHz, 44.1kHz or 48kHz sampling rate can be converted to OpenMG format.
    - Only MP3 format music files with Monaural or Stereo format can be converted to OpenMG format.
    - Raw MP3 files (.mp3 file extension) and RIFF MP3 files (.wav and .MP3 file extensions) can be imported into My Library. However, the following music files cannot be transferred to any device/media, even if they are imported into My Library:
    A. MP3 format music files with a bit rate of less than 32kbps.
    B. MP3 format music files with a bit rate of more than 320kbps.
    C. MP3 format music files with a variable bit rate.

    4. Import WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files by:
    - Downloading WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files from a music service through the Internet and importing them into My Library.
    - Importing WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files stored on the hard disk into My Library.

    Note:
    - When playing back WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files, Windows Media PLayer Version 7.0 or higher must be installed on the computer.
    - WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files with copyright protection cannot be converted to OpenMG format.
    - When importing music files into My Library, only WMT (Windows Media Technologies) compliant music files with the following characteristics can be converted to OpenMG format:
    A. Linear PCM.
    B. 44.1kHz sampling frequency.
    C. Stereo format.
