How do I enable VoLTE? (Android 9 or Higher )

Solution
Note! Depending on operator, your phone must sometimes be operator-branded and/or use operator-customised system software to be able to use VoLTE. Your subscription (incl. SIM card) must support VoLTE for the device model you're using. To inquire if your device, software, subscription and SIM card support VoLTE, contact your mobile network operator.
To enable VoLTE
Android 12 or Android 13 or Android 14
- Make sure your specific Xperia device model and network subscription support VoLTE.
- Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Internet → Tap Settings icon (Gear icon) beside your connected network.
- Tap the switch beside 4G Calling or 5G Calling (if applicable) to turn the feature on. If 4G Calling isn't available, contact your network operator.
Android 10 or Android 11
- Make sure your specific Xperia device model and network subscription support VoLTE.
- Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Preferred network type → 4G (preferred)/3G/GSM.
- Tap the switch beside Enable VoLTE to turn the feature on. If Enable VoLTE isn't available, contact your network operator.
Android 9.0
- Make sure your specific Xperia device model and network subscription support VoLTE.
- Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Advanced → Preferred network type → 4G (preferred)/3G/GSM.
- Tap the switch beside Enable VoLTE to turn the feature on. If Enable VoLTE isn't available, contact your network operator.
