My smartphone cannot be paired with or connect to the INZONE Buds via Bluetooth.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue:
- Check if your smartphone supports LE Audio.
Note: If the smartphone does not support LE Audio, the INZONE Buds can't be connected using the Bluetooth function. If this is the case, you can still connect the INZONE Buds to your smartphone using the supplied USB transceiver: connect the supplied USB transceiver to the USB Type-C port of the smartphone, and pair it with the smartphone. For details, refer to the Help Guide. - Check the LE Audio setting on the smartphone:
- To open the Bluetooth settings screen on the smartphone, select Settings → Device connection.
- Select the (Settings) icon to the right of the headphones' model name.
- Check the LE Audio setting status. If it is set to OFF, tap the status bar to turn it ON.
- If any device was once connected with the headphones using LE Audio, that device may be automatically connected with the headphones when entering the pairing mode. For devices that have been connected with LE Audio in the past, turn off the device or the Bluetooth setting on the device, then try pairing again with the new device.
- Update the smartphone, the Sony | Headphones Connect app, and the INZONE Buds' software to the latest version.
- Delete the pairing information of the headphones from the smartphone's Connected devices list, and then perform the pairing again to reconnect to the smartphone.
If the issue is still not resolved, we recommend booking a repair.
