This product is perfect if you are into movies and music videos with strong bass. The controller is a no-nonsense straightforward design without too many complicating buttons. The other advantage is the elimination of prior older generations of sound system's one limiting factor: cables. Will highly recommend to anyone needing a decent sound system under a 4-digit budget whilst retaining a subwoofer for that sweet powerful bass.

I bought a mounth ago, i feel the bass sound is perfect, but sometime i get trouble if bass sound are placed near from wifi modem the sound abromal, over all are perfect

After being installed the blue tooth music skipped. You have to turn off the sound bars and then unplug it, wait for 1 minute and then plug it back in. That solved the problem.

I just bought the soundbar and it has great high and low response and amazing base. Also very clear and crisp sound.

so easy to set up. loved the sound and the wireless subwoofer is great ,really shakes the floor .

I was excited because it sounded so good on the display model. Got it home and not so much. No adjustments besides preset and bass volume. And everything we watch has a different sound level. Some have to be all the way up to hear it. Others on 15 setting. Would not recommend

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the ongoing issues I am facing with my soundbar. Despite multiple attempts, the soundbar remains constantly disconnected from the woofer, leading to persistent cracking sounds I have tried troubleshooting on my end without success, and this recurring problem is causing significant frustration

Less than 3 months I face problem with the unit , not only I can’t find a human customer service that can handle , your what apps agent make me wait for days with promises made but to no avail

I bought this to replace my old Yamaha YAS-207. The Yamaha soundbar was great quality, but the bluetooth pairing would fail with the Subwoofer 1 out of every 8-10 starts and this drove me crazy, so I sold it. I bought this Sony soundbar from the Sony rep at John Lewis in Bristol after he gave me a quick demo in store. I was very impressed at the quality for the price. Once I got it home and used it for a few weeks, the bluetooth pairing was lighting fast both with the subwoofer and my iPhone and iPad. After this experience, I would only go for Sony soundbars in future.

I bought this sound bar model HT-S400 last month, the sound is quite satisfactory for me. in my opinion, if you want more powerful bass sound, you need to buy a SW3 subwoofer

I buy on end of dec 2023. So far everything is superb about sound but design subwoofer need to upgrade (nice)

I recently purchased a lower priced Sony Model to complement my Sony Bravia TV. Together, I have a great TV and better audio. If you don't want to spend the extra on a high end sound bar. I recommend this unit.

I have been using this soundbar for about a month. Dialogue is clear even without activating voice mode. Music is generally good—some music or songs sound better than others. The bass is smooth, not jarring.

I bought this as a replacement for a less expensive sound bar from another manufacturer and there is simply no comparison.

I am quite satisfied with the sound reproduction and the design of the product. However, I like to comment on the quality of the light indicators on the sound bar and sub-woofer. The indicator light on the sound bar is too small. The indicator light on the sub-woofer is also too small and and not visible that the light is on. The indicator of the previous sound bar HT-S350 is much better in terms of size and brightness.

I am happy with the soundbar. Very easy to setup and use.

Disign nice and clean, Wireless subwoofer can connect far distance good job.

I have testing few week ago, clear sound not enough.

I bought this sound bar to replace my nine year old Bose system which was not totally compatible with my new television. They work so well together, could do with a little more base to suit my ears.

This model delivers significantly better than other brands at this price range.

Few weeks ago I bought this together with my other appliances and I noticed it works perfectly well, plus with good audio quality, i experience cinematic effects in my small bedroom

It's easy to setup with TV (Bravia) and also easy to pair up with any Bluetooth enabled device. The sound quality is surprisingly good even though it's connected to the TV through Bluetooth (A2DP) only. The surround sound feature is ok but not great. Voice enhanced mode is not so noticeable. Overall the sound quality is great for a 2.1ch soundbar.

I bought this almost 2 month and very satisfied with this product.

For just 2 speakers and a subwoofer you get and impressive sound effects that give you virtual surround sound. And the subwoofer adds a quality I didn't know was missing, the tonal quality of voices, explosions and sound effects.

Made this excellent purchase two months ago, experienced superior quality sound with an easy installation. Small is size, LARGE is sound quality

I bought the HSD40 sound bar Christmas for new Samsung tv. It works for 10 to 60 minutes then go's searching for Bluetooth and the sound stops. Then you have to hit input on the remote to tv and it might last 15-30 minutes before you have to do it again. Very disappointed in Sony

I bought this to blast TV and music while on my loud treadmill. It’s not a 4k pass thru it just a basic model that works great for my old TV. The price reflects this as well! Easy set up, love it!

Built in TV sound is better than this sound bar. instead of buying this can buy one UE megablast. I feel very bad.

The sound it great and the quality is okay. Considering that it is an entry level speaker and the sound does get really loud and crisp but if the room is big it struggles. But for its price posing it really gets the job done
