I love these headphones, they are fantastic but they died after only 18 months. For a premium product that is terrible. The right speaker has stopped working and from looking online it seems to be a common problem with this model.

I bought them after I had a mega issue with my Bose headphone (I kept getting loud static in one speaker, and a known problem when you see the YouTube video on fault repairs). They do the job. I think the build quality is better than Bose and the after sales support way better.

Went to buy B&W but the assistant recommended I try several headphones. So I tested B&W, B&o and Bose. To my total surprise the Sony's out performed them all. And came in at £200 less. . True the B&Ws were very good and lovely build quality but the Sony's were acoustical better. Now there's a phrase I didn't expect to type.

Good sound however I find ANC is better on my WF-1000XM5's, maybe because I wear glasses most the time so there may be a small gap between ears and WH-1000XM5's. Convenient to slip them on and off though.

I am very unhappy about this as has the M2 version but they got stolen so bought these as a replacement and am sorry i did there is a whine in the background and whatever it is its makes them unworkable

I bought the headphones from Amazon a bit over a year ago and I love it. It works perfectly and it's light. However, it suddenly happened today that it won't charge, I tried all cables and chargers with no luck. I contacted the customer service and went through the trouble shooting process with no luck. The customer service told me to use a repair service in New York that has terrible review on line and I have to pay for it. It's such a bad experience.

I wanted noise cancelling over ear headphones for a while, so long that the XM4 had been the new ones, with the XM5 release I did comparisons via youtube etc. I purchased direct from Sony with the XM5 in blue, they feel great, the app is good for adjustments to sound and the features, battery life is over a week for me using 3-5 times a day. The sound quality is the best I’ve used, they replaced AKG N60Nc that did me well for many years! I’ve already told others to get these, I’m very glad I did.

I bought this after watching several videos. The headphones are great and comfortable to wear over some time unlike my previously bought headphones which becomes too heavy on the head while wearing. The foam cushions are comfortable and do not press on your ears. The sound quality is by far okay. Although, pairing with my iPhone takes some time manually but it does it job. The design is very minimal and is stylish in my opinion. Overall this is a great pair of headphones.

I bought the product 3 weeks ago. I love the ANC and the weightlessness of the device. But, for the price, the bass is kind of weak and the feel isn't too premium. For the Wh1000-XM6 try to integrate sensory bass or something. I'd also like if the spatial audio was actually built into the headphones. Final notice: please send me a pair of the next headphones (xm6) went it is released.

I’ve been using this with my Apple devices, but unfortunately, I’ve experienced frequent disconnections. Additionally, it feels quite heavy on my head, and I often feel discomfort at the top of my head after wearing it for a while—it just doesn’t seem to be a good fit for me. Another issue is that, during phone calls, the person on the other end can hear my background noise clearly. There doesn’t appear to be an option to minimize background sounds, which is quite disappointing.

It has been a month went by which I started to use this headphone. I used it mainly for commuting to/fro office, and to pick up office calls. It has worked amazingly and I had no issues other than sometimes the volume gets auto adjusted when put down and put it back on. It's worth the money. Lots of cool features and very comfortable. The only thing that I don't like is the head adjustment band. My previous Sony headphones had numbered steps, locking in place. Way more comfortable for quick put on. On these, every time I've to put them on, adjustment is a must.

Researching and watching reviews for a couple of weeks, I recognised that these headphones were recommended by many and thought to buy them and hear them myself. The ear pads are very comfortable. The sound quality is amazing. Battery life is amazing and can get a couple of days of battery life depending on how heavy you use them. I recommend these to anyone look for them. Sony you did great job making these.

Very good headset with ANC

I have been using the blue version for 1 month and pretty satisfied with it. One little thing (not a deal breaker) about the ANC is it does not cancel off announcements made over a PA system. Somehow I felt that the headset rotates in a wrong direction as the cushion will be facing upwards when worn around the neck. As I am in the tropics, the headset feels hot, otherwise not much problem with it.

As a Sony lover who’s xm4s recently broke I thought I would try an upgrade however these headphones really did not meet anywhere near my expectations , the noise cancelling was horrible like much worse than xm4s but I fixed my headphones so I didn’t need these anymore however I was willing to keep it if it actually felt like an upgrade . I bought this for my long flights to Europe from Asia and it worked very well. Cut out a lot of the engine noise. Much better than my AirPods Pro 2. While wearing it for more than 12 hours can be a little sore for the ears, but it is not that bad as the headphones is very light. The only drawback with the noise canceling is that when any part of the headphone touches parts of the plan (e.g. seat cushion when leaning), the noise canceling doesn't negate the sound arising from the vibrations from the contact.
